What is paint protection film?
A TPU film that goes over your paint and takes the damage instead of it — rock chips, road debris, scratches, everyday wear. It self-heals, so light scratches and scuffs disappear.
Do you offer PPF specifically for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y?
Yes — our current Tesla packages cover Full Body PPF and Front Clip coverage for Model 3 and Model Y, with a choice of LUXE, Suntek or Stealth Films. See the Tesla packages above for current pricing.
Clear or matte — how do I choose?
It comes down to how you want the car to look, not how well it's protected — both finishes carry the same level of protection. Clear keeps your factory paint and finish exactly as it is. Matte gives the car a satin, blacked-out look without a respray.
Is the film covered by a warranty?
Yes — coverage is available on approved installations. Each film comes with its own registered warranty card, and registration is required where it applies. Installation workmanship is the responsibility of SFS Bay Area.
How long does installation take?
It depends on coverage and whether paint correction is needed first. A front clip is a materially different job from a full body install. SFS gives you a timeframe with your quote.
